First of all, I would like to extend a big thank you to all who participated in my 2011 Cute Kid Contest!  It was a lot of fun and I was happy to see so many submissions.  I am also happy that I didn't have to choose the winner myself!

It was a VERY close contest for our first and second place winners and came down to only two votes.  I was planning to only offer a first place prize for the contest winner but because the contest was so very close, I thought it only fair to offer the second place winner a contest prize as well!  Even though you are probably already familiar with the winners via my facebook page, I thought it was necessary to feature these adorable faces on my blog as well.

 
Conner's parents have won a free session along with a print and digital package and Sophia's parents have won a free session.  I'm looking forward to adding their sweet faces to my portfolio in the coming months!

And, to all who entered their child into the contest, I would like to offer you a $25 credit towards my session fee.  Please contact me for details.

I am very excited to announce that I am hosting my first ever cutest kid contest! Beginning today, March 8th, you will be able to submit a photo of your cute kid for a chance to win.  The winner will receive a free photo session with yours truly, as well as one 8×10, two 5×7s, one set of 8 wallets, and one digital file of your favorite photograph from your session.  A $290 value!

HOW TO ENTER

• one entry per child (you must be the parent or legal guardian of the child entered)
• photos will be accepted beginning today, Tuesday, March 8th, in one of two ways.  You may post your photo to the wall of the Tracy Heyman Photography fan page or via email.
• if entering via email, please send your submission to tracy@tracyheymanphotography with the subject line CUTEST KID CONTEST
• include your child’s first name and age with your submission
• every entry will receive a $25 credit towards their next session with Tracy Heyman Photography. Limit one per household/family.  Credit must be used by August 31st, 2011.
• ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED STARTING TODAY, MARCH 8TH THROUGH 3 PM (EST), MARCH 15TH, 2011

HOW TO VOTE:

• all entries posted to the Tracy Heyman Photography fan page on Facebook or submitted via email by 3 pm (EST) March 15th, will be uploaded into an album entitled CUTEST KID CONTEST.
  
• voting will begin on Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 
• to vote for a photo, navigate to the 'Cutest Kid Contest' folder on my Fan Page, find your photo and click "like".  Each "like" counts as one vote.  Then, tell all of your friends and family to vote for your photo as well!  (You must ‘like’ Tracy Heyman Photography on Facebook to be able to click "like" to place your vote for any of the photo submissions)
• the photo with the most ‘likes’ will be the contest winner.
• voting will close Tuesday, March 22nd, at 3 pm (EST), 2011
• the official winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011.

THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE:

• the parent or legal guardian of the child in the photo that receives the most ‘likes’ will receive a free photo session (for up to 5 immediate family members, $15 fee per additional person) with Tracy Heyman Photography, one 8×10 photo, two 5×7 photos, one set of 8 wallets and one digital file of your favorite photograph from your session. 
• the runner up will receive a $75 credit towards your next session with Tracy Heyman Photography

THE FINE PRINT:

• prizes must be redeemed by August 31st, 2011
• the first prize retail value is $290.  Prizes can not be altered or changed in any way, and are not redeemable for cash
• no other promotions or discounts can be applied to prizes and prizes are not transferable to another person
• winners must be willing to sign a portrait contract
• the contest is open to everyone, however the session must take place within 30 miles of zip code 17015.   A travel fee will be charged in the amount of $1 per mile, each direction, beyond 30 miles
